Well went for a look at the Super Boats today on the best lake in Aus, first race 11 o’clock. Big Deep horse power noise. But only 2 big boy boats. 2nd group fast outboards but in a different class. A lot of money spent for not much action. Bring on the Red Bull Air Race.

A rare opportunity to join our team as a Full-time Service Technician has become available. We are looking for an experienced 4th year apprentice or recently qualified Technician with a positive work ethic and who is eager to learn and become an integral part of our close-knit team.

Starting out as a small team of just two and specialising mainly in Japanese & Korean made cars, David Brown Automotive has been providing exceptional customer service to our large customer base since 2001. We are proud to be one of the most successful mechanical workshops in the Newcastle & Hunter area and attribute this mostly to our experienced and long-standing team, all of whom have been working for us for over 12 years.

A successful candidate will have:
- The ability to perform services to a high standard
- The ability to complete repair and diagnostic work on mostly light vehicles
- A strong customer focus
- Your own tools
- Be available to work 7:30am-4:00pm Monday – Thursday & 7:30am-2:00pm Friday
- A keenness to learn and become a part of a close-knit team with old school values

Well lockdown has been hard on a lot of businesses. We are so privileged to of had the support of all the people that have become apart of the DBA story, so much more than just where you take your car for a service. Thanks to the boys at work and people that have continued to support us and kept our wheels turning. Allowing all of us to be there full time through all this crazy lockdown. A true credit to all that have been apart of what we started 20 years ago. I will use a few pics to show what’s been going on. I will try and post more regular pics of the day to day action. Thanks again. 👍👍
