Kristy's brand new LC300 ready for a complete touring setup. 🔥

This build features our Steep Point Drawer System paired with a 65L Bushman Upright Fridge and the Voltek Victron Frontier Package, creating the perfect balance of storage, power and usability for long trips away.

You simply can't beat the integration of the 12V system. Clean, reliable and designed to work seamlessly with the vehicle while keeping everything easily accessible and simple to monitor.

What really sets this setup apart is the weight. With the removal of the factory rear seats, the total added weight of this complete system comes in at approximately 85–95kg, which is incredibly light for a fully featured touring setup. Traditional plywood drawer systems or steel framed drawer systems are often closer to 150–160kg, making this a huge advantage for the LC300 when it comes to payload, fuel economy and overall vehicle performance.

The result is a touring setup that doesn't just look factory, but performs like it belongs there too.

We’ve been quietly refining a new build method across a large number of systems and it’s now become our go-to standard. Significant weight savings, the same strength where it matters, and a finish that speaks for itself.

After spending loads of time developing our other false floors, it was time to take another look at the 150 Prado 👀

The Prado’s rear is tighter than most wagons, so once you throw in a drawer system, space for your 12V setup becomes near impossible. This raised floor fixes that 💡

You can now mount a full 12V system underneath, with access to fusing from the middle row 🔋⚡️

At Splinter 4x4, we’re always pushing to innovate our false floors, even if it means sacrificing a bit of drawer height. It won’t suit every setup, but for a Sandy Cape, it’s an absolute game changer 👊

The middle row seats stay right where they should, keeping plenty of legroom for those long hauls 🚙💨
