What a week at AFAC26! 🚒

As the AFAC News 26 exhibition wraps up in Melbourne, it has been a fantastic few days for Adam , Nav , Matt and Jess alongside the Rosenbauer Group team.

There has been plenty happening on and off the stand, with Jess also facilitating discussions at the Resources resources theatre around ERT VOC and the Minerals Council emergency response competitions and sharing perspectives on an area that is very familiar to our team.

Another highlight has been seeing EVIE, Fire Rescue Victoria’s Rosenbauer electric fire truck, on display. Victoria’s first electric fire truck is not just a look at what the future might hold, it is already in operational service and putting electric firefighting technology to work.

Most importantly, AFAC is always about the people. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Rosenbauer stand for a chat, caught up with our team, shared ideas or introduced themselves over the past few days. It has been great reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones.

Thanks to the Rosenbauer team for having us alongside them and to everyone involved in another great AFAC.

AFAC26 is underway in Melbourne! 🚒

Adam Gill, Navin Vij, Matt Keating and Jessica Keogh are on the ground at AFAC News 26 Conference & Exhibition, joining the Rosenbauer Group team for one of the biggest events on the emergency management and first responder calendar.

It is a great opportunity to connect with industry, catch up with familiar faces and showcase the Rosenbauer equipment, technology and solutions available to fire and emergency services across Australia.

We are growing our Queensland Emergency Response team.
Following the award of a significant new project on the Sunshine Coast, Parabellum International is recruiting 12 Emergency Services Officers (ESOs), including relief personnel, to join our expanding Queensland operations.

We are looking for experienced emergency response professionals who are ready to bring their capability to a major project and become part of a team with a growing pipeline of work across Queensland.

Essential requirements:
• Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
• Underground experience

Our workshop is a hive of activity, with multiple fire appliances progressing through various stages of production, custom fit-out, testing and commissioning.

From new builds and specialist bodywork to equipment installation and final operational testing, each appliance is configured to meet the specific requirements of the client and the environment in which it will operate.

Our Rosenbauer Group builds are also taking shape alongside the range of specialist vehicles currently moving through our in-house production and fit-out program.

These projects showcase the capability of our Vehicles and Equipment team, with several appliances now nearing completion and preparing for handover to clients.

Our Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance team recently completed an onsite foam tank replacement for one of our clients Fire Trucks.

Completing this type of specialist work onsite helps minimise vehicle downtime while ensuring critical emergency response assets remain safe, reliable and ready for service.

A great example of the technical capability, care and attention to detail our team brings to every job.

Parabellum International is seeking experienced casual and full-time Trainers and Assessors to join our growing training team at our specialist facility in Naval Base, Western Australia.

We are looking for professionals with practical industry experience across:

You will deliver a range of nationally recognised and non-accredited training programs, using your operational experience to build the capability of emergency response personnel across the resources, defence and industrial sectors.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Strong operational emergency response experience and current industry knowledge

• Relevant vocational qualifications and industry competencies

• Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to safety, compliance and high-quality training delivery
