My name is Mason Trainor, a father of 5 children trying to build a reputation in car servicing in order to provide for my lovely family. I have been a mechanic for 6 years I started my apprenticeship with Toyota and are very familiar with the Toyota brand, I have experience working in a subaru/hyundai dealership so most of my overall experience lies with Japanese/korean cars but have the ability a

Subaru's fb20 engine is known for being fuel friendly but not for its power, but I have ways to get around that! Here is an engine i have built for my own personal vehicle.

My subaru xv originally had a fb20 engine which i have modified with a avo turbocharger amongst other things. I have since been researching and building a better and stronger fb20 engine which has been upraded to the fb25 block with custom forged pistons, fa20 crankshaft, fa20 forged conrods and the original fb20 heads to alter the compression ratio!

Once the swap is done i will upload it with an update on how its running.

Keeping on top of your vehicles maintenance is essential to keeping it on the road. Over time brake fluid will absorb moisture and break down turning a darkish colour, this will affect braking performance and make your pedal feel a bit spongy or soft.

Most manufacturers recommend to replace brake fluid every 2 years or 30,000kms
