We said goodbye to another school group today. They spent 3 full days with us and had the best time....Portland Fish and Chips supplied cooked meals the whole time and the students agreed it was outstanding ... Pasta, Bacon and eggs, bbq, Dutch pancakes, flathead pieces, toast, cakes, slices and more. Thanks Kylie and team.

Keith from GoSurf Port Fairy brought the gear and turned on the weather ... Last day of winter and hot, hot, hot! Thanks GoSurf team.. paddleboarding was such fun and really pitched to the grade 3 and 4 students. Chris Rockley helped us find edible seaweed which we cooked up in damper. Stunning.

Day 2 of our school camp and here's why the kids and teachers think Narrawong Island Holiday Park is the best school camp venue -
1. Cabin accommodation - cosy comfortable air-conditioning.
2. Big indoor space for games, concerts, trivia.
3. Activities - so far they've foraged for seeweed, cooked damper, paddleboarding, fishing, beach walk, night hike, singalong and orienteering.
4. The food - our catering partners have kept them so well fed they almost can't move after eating.
5. The park office - handy for coffees and staff snacks.
6. Activities that come to you. We can book all sorts of outside providers - surfing, caving, mountain bikes, kayaks, abseiling, rock climbing and more.

Spring is here and school camp season has begun. Right now our grade 3 and 4 students have enjoyed walking in along the beach. They even found a live turtle. They've been orienteering, a fun, sunny fishing attempt! Then they absolutely loved stand up paddle boarding on the beautiful Surry River.

Top it all off with a delicious fish'n'chip'tea, night hike, singalong and then well earned rest in our deluxe cabins.

SPRING FEELS ! Why not book a site for these coming weekends. We've got cabins, van sites and other camping spaces. Its still quiet right up to Grand Final weekend so call the office 03 5529 5282 and lock in a destination park break. We have great fishing, perfect kayaking and paddleboarding. There's coffee served in the office and food vans coming in for the busy weekends ( school holidays ). Enjoy the beauty and the peace.

Firepits and friends. It makes a bleak weekend something special. Come on down... we've got cabins, van sites, camping spots and we'll sort out firewood and firepits for you. Just lovely!

Narrawong is the perfect base for discovering Victoria's South-West. Located just 15 minutes from Portland and 30 minutes from Port Fairy. It is a tranquil getaway offering riverside camping, proximity to the beach and all the joy of nature at your doorstep.

We have cabins, camping, powered and unpowered van sites along with outdoor and indoor kitchens, games room, playground, nearby tennis courts and oval, walking trails and more.

There's a boat ramp to launch small craft into the beautiful Surry River, bridges to the beach and to the local town. All this with a park office that is stocked with essential supplies, bait, coffee machine and a staff willing to go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable and comfortable.

Narrawong also hosts birthdays, weddings, sporting teams, clubs and corporate groups. Please call the park office and we can organise as much or as little of your stay as you want. Our catering partners bring in the food vans for school camps and any other group bookings if you'd like.

Come down in the last month of winter. It's peaceful, gorgeous and the weather can really turn it on (in a good way).

What a great time to come on down to Narrawong. We have plenty of cabins this weekend and lots of waterside van and campsites. Things are stressful mid year so how about a nature detox in our beautiful park. Here it is - just perfect.
