Evening all - Sorry for the late notice on this one, having a few computer issues. Note: Due to the weather and a wet track, the T-Pro Series event did not go ahead this weekend, the T-Pro series event will be re-scheduled in a few weeks - Date TBA/Confirmed. The next event will be a normal club day.

Well that is a wrap for another year for the 2026 RCRA Capital RC 1/8th Off-Road ACT State Titles delivered an action-packed weekend of racing, with close battles, changing conditions and some incredible driving across all classes.

In 1/8 Electric Buggy, Lachlan Donnelly claimed the State Title after a composed and consistent drive in the A-Main, finishing with 18 laps in 10:33. Jarod Ment pushed hard all race to secure second place, while Zac Foster completed the podium after an intense battle through the closing stages. Matthew Couper and Riley Lander-West rounded out the top five after strong performances in a stacked field.

The Nitro Buggy A-Main was the headline event of the weekend, with drivers tackling a demanding 45-minute final. Zac Foster delivered an outstanding drive to take the State Title with 74 laps, while Lachlan Donnelly kept the pressure on to finish second just one lap behind. Jarod Ment completed the podium ahead of Felix Koegler and Matthew Couper after a fast and consistent run.

The Junior A-Main showcased some of the sport’s rising talent, with Riley Lander-West taking a convincing win ahead of Zac Panic, while Jett Gobin rounded out the podium.

A huge thank you to all racers, families, volunteers and sponsors who helped make the 2026 Capital RC ACT State Titles another fantastic event. Congratulations to all of our State Champions and podium finishers!
