As a current driving instructor for 15yrs and a Firefighter for over 28yrs I have seen the best and worst in driver behaviours on our roads. I wish I could click my fingers and attitudes change ,but sadly they won't. It starts with students learning and parents instilling safe driver behaviours in their children. 196 drivers have lost their lives this year alone, 1038 males and 335 females in the last 5 years. There is an average of 45 crashes in Qld per day. Last night I attended the crash as seen in the pictures below . The driver, would you believe survived.. 😯 he is one of the lucky ones. You get one chance in life, drive safe.
