🚚 CASUAL JUNIOR POSITION AVAILABLE – NANANGO 🚚

South Burnett Truck Rental is looking for a reliable, motivated and practical junior team member to join our business in Nanango.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, can follow instructions, complete assigned tasks and work confidently without constant supervision.

Duties may include:

• General administration
• Customer service
• Social media and marketing
• Using Square point-of-sale software
• Cleaning and maintaining the truck yard
• Preparing and checking vehicles
• Basic truck maintenance
• General practical tasks and problem-solving

Applicants must be computer literate and comfortable using technology. Previous experience using Square or another point-of-sale system would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

Applicants will need:

• A current driver licence
• Good reading and writing skills
• Basic numeracy skills
• Good computer and technology skills
• The ability to work unsupervised
• The ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as set out
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Basic practical or mechanical understanding
• Confidence using basic tools and completing everyday maintenance tasks

No formal mechanical qualifications are required. However, applicants should be practical, willing to learn and able to identify when something does not look or work correctly.

About the position:

• Casual employment
• Approximately 10–20 hours per week (including weekends)
• Hours will vary depending on bookings and business needs
• Early morning starts are regularly required, including 6:00am or earlier
• Full on-site training will be provided
• Award wages to commence, with yearly performance and wage reviews
• Located in Nanango

For the right person, there may be opportunities to take on additional hours, join our furniture removal crew and eventually progress into a removal crew leader position.
