In 1976, a small country business opened its doors in Myrtleford with a simple goal: to keep the local community moving. What began as Myrtleford Tyre & Battery Service has grown into more than just a tyre and battery shop—it has become part of the fabric of the town itself.
For over 50 years, our family business has been there for farmers heading to the paddock before sunrise, truck drivers hauling freight across the country, families setting off on holidays, and locals simply needing reliable service they could trust. Through changing times, economic booms and downturns, droughts, floods, and the rapid evolution of the automotive industry, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to keeping the wheels rolling.
Over the decades, vehicles have changed dramatically. We have seen the transition from simple farm utes and family sedans to sophisticated four-wheel drives, electric systems, advanced suspension technology, and modern fleet vehicles. Yet despite the technology, the heart of our business has always been people.
As a family-owned and operated business, relationships have meant everything. We have had the privilege of serving multiple generations of the same families—grandparents, parents, and now their children and grandchildren.
