Morning All, I just had one of my customers speak to me about buying a new Kia and the dealership said to him you must get the car serviced at the dealership to keep your warranty
Don’t be fooled by their bullying tactics
I am a licensed motor vehicle repair and a licensed motor mechanic
So that means you as the consumer or buyer have the right to take your vehicle to whoever you want to without losing your manufacturers warranty
Warranty logbook must be filled out and stamped
You will also save money with me and a better job will be done using better oil and filters, etc
So to all my customers,friends and followers,you need to know
-While car dealers may try to make you believe otherwise, you don't have to take your car back to the dealer for servicing
-The ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission)is clear on the point - any qualified mechanic can service your car and fill out the log book as long as they're using quality parts
-Going to an independent servicing and repair shop will not affect your car warranty

* While car dealers may try to make you believe otherwise, you don't have to take your car back to the dealer for servicing
