Little slow on the update.

Unfortunately John had a spin in the first session which saw him tap the wall. With a short turn around the team were able to replace the parts needed and get John back on track.

So racing event’s have been a little quiet.
This weekend see’s the team from Michael Newton Automotive at what we would like to think is a home round at Sydney Motorsport Park for the Shannons SpeedSeries Porsche Motorsport Australia Michelin sprint event.
We will have Eric in the number 11 Aera Cloud and Security Group Porsche GT3 cup car as well as John in the Entertainment Park and Eastern Creek Karting number 96 GT3 cup car.
First practice is at 12:55 for 45mins.

Being a home round gives us the ease of getting the old golf cart out for a drive so no trolley pushing for the team this weekend.

Michael Newton Automotive, located in McGraths Hill, is looking for an Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our expanding and successful team.

We specialise in Porsche engine and transmission building, Motorsport preparation and technical race track support, while upholding our high degree of service.

Porsche experience is preferred, however not essential.
