🚨 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 🚨

Bennett’s Towing were contacted following an incident where a vehicle was swept from a river crossing.

After carefully assessing the scene and recovery conditions, Bennett's Towing got to work with their tilt tray to recover the stranded vehicle. With strong currents and limited access, this was no ordinary recovery.

🔗 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙏𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠 🔗

What started as a call for a rolled ute quickly turned into another interesting off-road recovery for Bennett’s Towing.

Deep within Turon National Park, Jono carefully navigated rough terrain, steep 4WD-only access tracks, and even a river crossing to reach the stranded vehicle. After eventually locating the ute resting on its roof, only metres from the track (which was designated as a dry weather only track), Jono began planning the safest way to recover it from the difficult terrain.

Once the vehicle was carefully removed from its position, it was loaded onto the tilt tray and transported further along the track to a safer recovery area. From there, the ute was rolled back onto its wheels and prepared for its journey back to Mudgee.

🌳 𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝘂𝘇𝘂 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 🌳

Our Isuzu Tilt Tray was really put through its paces navigating rugged 4WD tracks through Turon National Park for the recovery of a vehicle that had left the road and rolled onto its roof.

Tough terrain, water crossings and tricky access made this one a really interesting recovery.

It was definately nice to be back on the highway home to Mudgee after successfully locating and retrieving the vehicle.

Bennett’s Towing was incredibly proud to be asked to transport this absolutely stunning Holden Commodore GTS R Ute to its new home.

This beauty is still brand new — everything exactly as it was when it was purchased, with only 12km on the dash!

A truly precious piece of Australian motoring history and without a doubt a car lover’s trophy. Vehicles like this aren’t just cars… they’re icons 🇦🇺
