To all of our friends, customers, and supporters of GripTune Suspension,

After careful consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to close the doors at GripTune Suspension—for now. I’ve recently accepted an exciting new opportunity overseas in my main line of work, and while it’s a big step forward for me personally, it does mean stepping away from the business I’ve poured my heart into.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you—our loyal customers, suppliers, and friends. Your support, trust, and encouragement over the years have meant the world to me. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve been truly lucky to work with so many passionate people.

This isn’t necessarily goodbye forever. There’s always a chance GripTune Suspension may return in the future. Until then, thank you for being a part of this journey.

Mud brought an early end to the life of these seals. On top of using high quality seals, and making sure your dust seals are in good condition there is a few ways to prevent this and look after your investment.
-Give your bike a good clean after riding, and make sure the chrome on your forks is nice and clean
-Rinse/wipe/clean of mud of the chrome before it dries between rides/races
-Occasionally pop the dust seal down, wipe out the area between the dust and oil seal and put a little bit of grease in there
-There is options for mud guards, we only like the temporary ones though, and only used when required like the SKF mud scrapers

It’s the little things… this is why we do a fork service, and don’t just change your leaking fork seals. We commonly pick up on things like these distorted shims. These small defects will change how your suspension works, and compromise your performance.

Part of the successful setup for the Finke bike was the Dal Soggio Race Part Division cartridge kit. Paired with BRP mounts and a Scotts steering damper. The front of this bike was absolutely amazing, minimal vibration, minimal steering deflection and great front wheel contact with the ground. The initial hit of the tyre hitting the ground was super smooth. If you’re interested in one of the best spring conversions around, send us a message!

Team Grip Tune has succeeded in getting two bikes across the line!
#646 Russell Hueffel (myself) in 187th, and
#269 Brock Ritchie in 277th with some mechanical issues and a fair old stack on the way down, but still managed to get there and back.
Pretty happy to get two clubman riders there and back, especially given the tough conditions with loads of dust and hidden square edges in the hard packed sections
