October and November are going to be a couple of busy months for FFCC run activities. First off we have the FFCC Lucas Automotive Marysville Stages Rally to be run out of Marysville on Sat October 17th as both a VCRS and VRC rally. We need as many club members to come along, and enter or official. We have many positions still available as road closures to get your own private spectator point in the forest. An all daylight event this year too, so you dont need to freeze your butt off in the forest late into the night.
Next up we have a Come & Try Motorkhana to be run on Melbourne Cup Day at Colac on Tuesday 3rd November. Designed to attract new competitors (juniors and adults) into the world on non-speed events in a non competitiive environment. Entry will be on the day and new licences available too.
Then we have the "mega motorsports weekend" on November 14th and 15th. On Saturday 14th FFCC and TCCA are running a day / night khanacross at Werribee from mid afternoon till after dark as a combined Group5 and VKC round. Get your spotlights prepped. The following morning on Sunday 15th FFCC and TCCA are again running another major event at Sandown with our November Sprint. As well as timed sprint sessions it will also include a Womens Introduction to Motorsport with instruction and untimed track sessions. As always - we need both compeitiors and officials to make these events run / viable...
So 4 major events over 4 different diciplines for both the "clean" and "dirty" side of the club - at 4 venues in only 5 weekends - so there is no excuse to be bored...
Throw in some other non FFCC events like the 53rd Australian Motorkhana Championship at Bendigo, and the Deniliquin VMC/VKC weekend and the NCCA King of Khanas, and its going to be a hell of an end to the year. Supp regs for most of these events are available on the FFCC website or through FB links...
Current FFCC members should have received an email from FFCC in their email inboxes in the last few days - it is screenshots from the recent FFCC monthly meeting at the Mountain View Hotel presentation. If you did not recieve it, please contact membership to update your email address, as this is a major way we contact members. If you are interested in what events are that the photos relate too and some of the stories behind them - come along to the next club meeting.
