EXCITING NEWS… I BOUGHT MY MACHINE SHOP!

Scott at SP automotive engineering has been machining my engines for the past 7+ years. After some negotiations to prioritise my engines more then he already has. It was agreed upon that I just buy him out and run it as my own. Scott stays on as the machinist. His knowledge and ability is the best!

In 2 weeks I’ll be moving myself and the machine shop under 1 big roof. All details will come as it unfolds.

With all of this happening it means I can turn around engines even faster and run far more efficiently. Our main priority is machining and assembling our own engines for you all. We will have a few spots/availability to machine only for select jobs.

Line boring
Torrington thrusts
Engine balancing
Fire rings
Mini Hoops
Decking
Cylinder head services etc.

Dave took GMH ETA out to the growl test day. After a few passes chasing the 60ft and continually pulling power out of the first 1.5secs. It stuck and went an 8.52@162. After getting his letter to leave he went down to Frydays to do what it does best and make some clouds. This is one badass street car. I think it’s either time to tech or just build a race car!

Not to mention how bad ass Dustin’s fairlane looks with its 325’s on the back.

John took NFN SUS out for his licensing passes. First pass 9.3@125mph lifting early. Second pass 8.9@157mph only to realise it still had the throttle dip from no prep. With 100% throttle it went 8.6@157 with an average 60ft in the heat of the day. Be good to see how fast we can get it with the 1000hp engine package before stepping it up in the near future.

GMH ETA with all the rpm. Dave has it pretty dialled now on the no prep surfaces.

PRO TE wins the no prep racing for power cruise 100. Such tuff cars around these days so as you could imagine it’s hard to do. Fletch’s rig had issues on that pass but I’m sure they’ll do it again another time. Brad won every race on a 255 PSR tyre. There was no tyre classes. So well done Brad Davis you didn’t stuff up and done your job well. Thanks to Murphs Performance for helping out on the no prep tuning. Will be good once we get the traction control working and throw some more at it. GMH ETA came 3rd with his new turbo set up. The big girl just keeps getting faster and faster!

KING XB will miss this years powercruise 100. Throw back to the 1500hp Barra set up. It will be back better than ever. Plenty of customers All Street tuffies out there this year.
