Big thanks Blake from B&P Bulk Haulage transport services for picking up and floating the big Osa to Cobar for us. The parts off this big girl will help Trav resurrect a second forwarder for us once it reaches Tassie.

As many might of known, our beloved Valmet Forwder suffered an injury a few weeks back now put our ability to get logs and process them to a stand still. We apologise for the delay but we're now back and fulfilling orders again.

Big thanks to Apex Contracting Tas for repairing and reinforcing the mast swivel mount for us. Without your dedication to the craft we'd still be stuck without the beast.

In saying that wood can be ordered either through the servo, the workshop or through this page again. Either pickup by appointment (Mon-Fri) or delivery. Delivery days will be Thurs/Fri each week.

$130 a metre
$10 delivery fee to the local area (Dilston to Hillwood and anywhere in between. Any other deliveries will be based off time travelled. Minimum order for deliveries is 2m.

The workshop will be closed for the day, we apologise for any inconvenience. Those that were booked in for this Friday have been contacted and new bookings have been made to rectify this.

Normal operating hours will resume from Monday the 18th.

HPA will be hosting an emergency preparedness meeting next Tuesday May 12th, 7pm at the Hillwood War Memorial Hall. There will be speakers from Emergency Services agencies providing information on what responses to expect when a community wide event occurs (e.g. severe storms, bushfires etc) and how best you can prepare. We’re hoping the meeting will help new residents learn about local emergency preparedness and response practices, and help keep longer-term residents up-to-date. All are welcome to attend.
