Jeep doing Jeep things... Wranglers are well known for the roof panels leaking, a simple tweak to fix and seal them up but 1st you must notice it occurring.

When the rig is parked up a lot of the time and the winter has been a tad wet, this is what you come to find.

The 1st picture should be a good starting point to let you know what we are working with, there were 2 of them in the car and full of moisture.

This will take a few days as we strip the interior, make it clean and safe and ready for more adventures.

You should be glad you can not smell this!

A Ford Everest has come in with the comment "The car stinks like mice or rats, p**s and poo, can you help?"

This was the cabin filter, behind the glove box that the aircon circulates air through, no wonder the inside stunk! There was lots of of evidence of their activity in the engine bay including chewed rubber, foam, plastics and a LIVE rat taking a dislike to our pressure washing efforts!

So now it looks cleans, is hygienic and SMELLS great once again and I believe we have evicted the critter(s) responsible.

What have done this time and why are the seats out on this little Honda Jazz? Because a window was left down and water + sun shine + time = MOULD!

We took on the job to get it clean it up, make it safe again and be a nice play to be once again.

Not a challenging job (compared to pet hair for example) but a safety concern for sure. The picture we didn't get was the mould under the front left seat, that was the main reason for removing them as it had spread pretty bad.

End results were great, a very happy client and a little yellow Jazz all back together looking good again.

With the rain (hopefully) going away, the sun coming out no doubt you will know someone who finds this nasty surprise waiting for them for a vehicle that has decided to become a Bio Hazard!

We seem to be the local Pre Sale Detail Specialists, this is about 70% of what we do. We help get vehicles ready for the market and also help clean them up when someone buys one that has not been prepared ready for sale.

This Prado was finding a new home and got a good general clean up inside and out. It did not need a huge amount of work as it was in great condition but it still consumed a day of labour to make it presentable as it deserves.

On Saturday we supported Ascha with her fund raising efforts as her and the amazing family and friends around her held a car wash at the Aldgate Village Well.

We offered to supply some tools, equipment, products and even jumped in at the end on the tools to do what we can. It sounds like it was a huge success with a BBQ going, cakes and coffee.

Ascha has the chance to go to Borneo to play in an international soccer competition - how awesome is that!

Well done to everyone involved, I really hope the funds raised helped and well done for jumping in and getting it all organised.

Here we have a simple and very effective job on a 2006 Holden Astra. Headlights were shall we say pretty p**s poor!
Now this is much better and far more usable. The owner of this car does a fair bit of night driving due to their work through the country side and now these headlights will be useful.

Its been a wild 2 weeks! I had an awesome time supporting the Flinders Classic event. Those moto riders were something. I thought I was a bit crazy on the mountain bike... these guys are next level.

Back home, the team did a great job servicing the clients in my absence and I managed to take running the business remotely to another level thanks to the addition of Starlink Roaming to the Ranger!

Today we worked on getting this JK Wrangler ready for the market and the paint was looking pretty sad. The request was to make it better, without going over the top so we did just that. Made an improvement.

The paint was mis matched in areas, had touch ups applied, paint chipping and cracks so some gloss was restored. We work with our clients to understand their needs, expectations, decide on a plan of attack for the vehicles and get stuck into it.

Now its done, ready to find its next owner to enjoy future adventures.

Now that the wild weather is passing, what did everyone get up to over the weekend and did you stay warm and dry?
I spent the last week in the Flinders Rangers between Parachilna and Blinman supporting the Flindrs Classic motorbike event, basically rescuing broken down dirt bikes (luckily no broken riders this event!) and doing some amazing 4wheeling and remote driving, most of the time solo. What a awesome trip.

A quick update that for the rest of the week we might be a bit slower than normal responding to Calls, Voicemails, Messages, Emails and Social Media as Rob heads away to support the Riders taking part in the Flinders Classic Motorbike event for the remainder of the week and over the weekend.

The team are still working away looking after all the bookings and handling all of the face to face needs, I am just working pretty remotely - time to test out this Starlink Roaming setup!
