This little beauty arrived a short time ago.

A custom carby hat and tray for plugs and bolts/nuts/etc, for when working on the motor to prevent debris entering into the intake chamber.

I would like to thank Ed and the team at Unrivaled Engineering for their fantastic customer support in making this custom unit and how responsive they were to our needs.

TRUST THE PROCESS.

Getting bracket kits right isn’t as straightforward as you might expect.

For a long time, I couldn’t understand why Windsor alternator brackets never lined up correctly. It wasn’t until I started manufacturing these brackets myself that I realised the bolts required to achieve correct alignment don’t actually exist as an off-the-shelf item.

Other bracket manufacturers have been a little naughty, making do with what’s readily available.

That’s not the UNRVLD way.

I have these bolts specifically manufactured to the exact lengths required. Unfortunately, these special-order bolts are only available in a raw black oxide finish, which is another thing I refuse to pass on to our customers.

The next step is taking these custom bolts to Elite Plating in Sydney, where they’re zinc plated and baked as part of the finishing process.

And here’s the interesting part.

All of this effort is for just TWO bolts in the entire bracket kit.

It might seem excessive, but these are the lengths we go to in order to achieve 100% correct alignment and deliver bracket kits that fit exactly as they should.

No shortcuts. No compromise.
