Parmaker Parmaker has been manufacturing the world's best golf buggies since 1979. http://www.parmaker.com

Parmaker set out in 1979 to build the best electric/motorised golf buggy in the world. To achieve this Parmaker’s golf buggies had to be stronger, lighter and more reliable than other companies. We had to use the latest materials and manufacturing techniques and they had to run, and run, and run.

Small changes can make a big difference on the course.

Golfing quick tip: Check your grip pressure before every shot. A common mistake is gripping the club too tightly, especially when you’re trying to hit further or stay in control. But too much tension can limit your wrist movement, affect your tempo, and make it harder to swing smoothly.

Think of your grip as firm, not forced – secure enough to control the club, but relaxed enough to let the swing flow naturally.

And when it comes to moving around the course, a Parmaker golf buggy helps you save energy between shots, so you can stay focused from the first tee to the final green.

Can golfers get tennis elbow?

Tennis elbow sounds like the sort of thing that should happen on a court, possibly while wearing a sweatband and muttering about your backhand.

But despite the name, tennis elbow is not exclusive to tennis players. Golfers can get it too. In fact, anyone who repeatedly grips, swings, twists, lifts or uses their forearm muscles can develop it. Find out how to deal with this painful and sometimes debilitating condition here:

Golf quick fixes – leaving putts short ⛳

Leaving putts short is one of the most common mistakes in golf — and it usually comes down to pace, not line.

A few quick fixes to try:
⛳ Take the putter back a little further. Many short putts come from decelerating through the ball. A slightly longer backswing with a smooth follow-through can help.
⛳ Finish the stroke. Do not jab at the ball. Keep the motion steady and let the putter continue through impact.
⛳ Read the uphill or downhill factor carefully. Uphill putts need more hit, while downhill putts need a lighter touch.
⛳ Practise lag putting. Focus on getting the ball to finish past the hole, not dying in front of it. A putt that has a chance to drop needs enough pace to reach the cup.
⛳ Commit to the stroke. Doubt often leads to tentative putting, and tentative putts usually finish short.

Good putting is all about confidence and speed control. Get the pace right, and you give yourself a much better chance of sinking more putts.

Conquering the hills: how to find the best golf buggy for tougher courses

Not all golf courses play the same. Some are smooth and relatively flat, while others make you work for every hole with long climbs, uneven ground and steeper fairways. If you regularly play on a hilly course, choosing the right golf buggy can make a big difference to comfort, confidence and overall performance.

A buggy that handles flat terrain well is not always the best choice for a course with more demanding conditions. On hillier layouts, you need to think beyond basic transport. Power, stability, control and overall build quality all start to matter more. Find out exactly what you need to look for in a golf buggy that can conquer the hills:

Which Parmaker golf buggy suits you best?

The right choice depends on your course, your bag, your size, and whether you prefer to ride or walk.

For hilly courses or heavier bags, look at more heavy-duty models like the Spirit Ghia or Scout SE. For flatter courses, the Spirit or Scout may be ideal.

If you weigh under 100kg, the Spirit ride-on may suit you. Over 100kg, the Spirit Ghia is the better option.

Prefer to walk? Choose the Scout or Scout SE. Prefer to ride or need extra support? Consider the Spirit, Spirit Ghia or Explorer Ghia. If you’re left-handed, the Scout Walker is a great fit.

Whatever you choose, Parmaker delivers reliable, long-lasting performance on the course.
