USA 4x4

USA 4x4 USA 4X4 are Australia's leading Jeep specialists in performance modifications, street and trail. Nobody in Aust knows more about modifying a RHD TJ than us!!!

We have been in the business of looking after Jeep owner's needs for over 28 years. USA 4x4's management team have extensive experience in service parts and modifications back to 1972 to the latest Jeep vehicles. We've restored 60's Willy's trucks, repaired MB army jeep transmissions and helped with plenty of V8 conversions over the years to old models. USA 4X4 founder Tony has been an active part

icipant in the Jeep scene for over 30 years now, and was mainly responsible for the founding of the Jeep Owners' Club of Victoria and is now an active member in the Melbourne Jeep Owners Club. He started USA 4X4 in 1989 in response to the needs of fellow Jeep owners for support, technical advice and parts and has been maintaining and modifying all types of Jeeps ever since. He also writes the Dr Jeep column in Jeep Action Australia as well as Jeep Ju**ie magazine, a US production. USA 4X4 were the first Australian importer of Teraflex products and authorized dealers for Rancho, Pro-comp, Bestop, KC Hilites, Cooper tyres, Mickey Thompson Tyres, AC Delco and Optima batteries, Polyair springs, Detroit Lockers, UDA gears, Spicer drive shaft components, ARB products, genuine Chrysler and non genuine spare parts, WARN winches and 4x4 accessories and more American off road brands. We have worked with these products developing them for use on RHD jeeps. Our favorite vehicle is the TJ Wrangler released in Australia in late 1996. We have been responsible for the first lifted RHD TJ in the world sorting out several major differences between a LHD and RHD suspensions. We have also had a lot to do with the JK wrangler, 2 & 4 door, petrol & diesel models and run a 2012 pentastar JK as one of the shop R&D platforms. we service all jeeps, wranglers, Cherokees and grand Cherokees and keep most service spares in stock for fast turn around. We also hold stock for other common older Chrysler jeep models such as the XJ, ZJ, KJ and WG and early model general spares for the AMC range of Jeeps back to the late 70's new and second hand, and now since being released mid 2007 the new JK 2 and 4 door wrangler. Our work shop now runs a pair of new 4 tonne hoists specifically catering for jeeps and being a Cooper and a Mickey Thompson dealer we also have full tyre fitting and balancing equipment for up to a 35" tyre.

Correct! It's not a picture of a Jeep but it is a picture of Me in 1982 or 3 of me on my YZ80J with a AMC Jeep sticker on the front mud guard

I used to ride passenger in a 1980 CJ7 back then that had driven the famous rubicon trail in Cal as good family friend was a jeep dealer thru the 70's and 80's

Thats when I fell in love with the jeep culture and it's never stopped

Back then a nice CJ7 jeep was almost as rare as a Ferrari and every one in Melb knew each other

They called an FJ40 the "poor man's jeep" cos they were only $4K or so when the CJ was $12K

I was too young to have a car license, just a licence to race motocross but it didn't stop me driving it !

And guess what else? it's not AI fake or just plain BS either 😜

We Sent this retro update XJ home this week with an all new cooling system, full service, AC revamp and a simple but effective little lift kit

We're doing these adjustable add-a-leaves, rear ranchos with bar pin eliminators and Tera 30 mm coil spacers

A simple way up, you can play with these leaves on the ground and balance lift from 20 to 50mm and left to right adjustment

There is a few tricks to it as usual. When was a Jeep job straight forward 😜

No need for front shocks or sway bar links and even the rear brake hose just copes with our way up

If you want a subtle lift kit for your low rider XJ get in touch for details

she's ready to roll. this jeep is in perfect condition but not supplied with a RWC. we can suggest who can help if sold on vic

we've looked after this jeep since new for the one owner and selling on his behalf as he's unable to drive any longer and he has just sunk $12K into the latest refresh we just did for him.

a base 2000 TJ will still cost you up to $10K and need $10K + spent on it to get cooling, brakes, roadworthy items then another $35K to mod to this level.

if you bought this TJ I'd put a set of 33x10.5R15 MAXXIS mud tires on it and it will go anywhere a $100K Rubicon will go

but TJ's are so much cooler. the red paint on the hood and front guards is a little average, other wise the body is perfect.

It's basically a red 4 year newer version of my own TJ and with the longs arms/ 9000's they ride so well on or off road and i swapped the tires to the 10.5's and its a different animal now

And Detroit's, "every one deserves a Detroit locker in their Christmas stocking" a wise diff man once told me

$25K ono
