Plea to help those doing it tougher than you…
In the spirit of giving back to the community and caring for those doing it tough, Keystar Autoworld, in conjunction with the Autopact Foundation, is raising funds to support North Brisbane Nourish Street.
Nourish Street is a registered non-profit charity that supports people experiencing homelessness and sleeping rough across the community.
While no government funding is available, sponsors, donors and volunteers enable the supply of nourishing meals to those in need.
Each week about 650 people share 800 meals and desserts.
To do its bit to help this worthy and often lifesaving work Keystar Autoworld is selling T-shirts and stubby holders emblazoned with the Keystar and Nourish Street Inc artwork.
T-shirts are only $25 and stubby holders $5, a small price to pay to help someone in need and with the festive season approaching would make a cool and practical gift.
Profits will be channelled back to Nourish Street Inc with all funds raised to be matched by the Autopact Foundation up to $80,000 nationally.
The charity is also establishing Nourish Street Care a mobile medical team led by volunteer doctors and nurses to provide medical and mental health support directly to those who need it most.
Staff are asked to please support this important campaign to help brighten up someone else’s day.
This September, the team at Keystar Autoworld is running, walking, swimming, and cycling in support of mental health. Our goal is to collectively travel 10,500 km — the equivalent of a journey around
