Most people never see inside a running LS.

This is what the close inspection finds before a single kilometre gets put on the build.

Valve springs and rocker arms, sitting open in the block.

The way a spring sits in its seat tells you exactly how much care went into the work above it.

A cocked seat or uneven contact isn't a tolerance issue. It's a record of how the build was assembled — right there in the metal.

You can read it before a single kilometre gets loaded onto the engine.

First time you get this right, you stop checking a list and start reading the engine.

That's the line between a build assembled under pressure and one assembled with intent.
