Mobile HoseFixers began operation in 1992, with one van and one operator, and now boasts a large van fleet and ten service centres, servicing South & Central Queensland, Sydney, Adelaide, South Western Melbourne and Dandenong areas. Our operators are fully trained in all aspects of hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings along with all associated products and their applications. All our vehicle

s are fully kitted mobile workshops fitted with modern communication systems and we have an experienced team behind the scenes fully able to back up our onsite service. MHF Central Queensland opened in Nebo in June 2010 as a one vehicle mobile service and has grown into a 4 Mobile Service Vehicle operation with a workshop and warehouse located at 17 Industrial Avenue, Moranbah. When we say we get just about anything in here @ MHF, I mean everything from any walk of life in machinery & equipment aspects. This Mack R6X6 Retired & Repurposed Ex-Military Truck at some point has been converted to a service module truck. Possibly Pre 1981 Rig, please let us know if you know.

This rig was in for some TLC, minor re-hose & pressure delivery performance inspection.

MHF’s Cylinder bench has been working double shifts these past few months.

Here we have an Hitachi ZX360 Cylinder in for an over haul.

Quick strip down, inspection of tolerances, reseal and out the door it goes.

This Cylinder takes an absolute beating coming from a hard rock quarry project. Life expectancy can be lower than standard component centreline life when used in this application, but addressing premature failures such as rod piston seals in this instance early, you can extend life just enough to see them break a few more rocks and capitalise on the component to end of life.

In short, every extra hour earned is value returned.

Have a tricky serpentine hard pipe that has failed and OEM can’t supply on demand?.

MHF can help you from getting bent out of shape with our in house pipe bender and range of pipe in stock made to example, sinuous pipes are our specialty. Bring it in, and we’ll bend it up and send you out.

Another versatile Jacking Sloop deck in for a full RS23 Audit.

Every re-hose starts with a thorough strip and assessment of all hoses and valve adapters on the MCV banks to ensure their integrity before any new components are fitted.

From there, we re-hose the entire outfit, giving us the opportunity to realign and correctly orientate every hose during refit. When hoses are routed and seated properly, they’re subjected to less stress and unnecessary wear, helping to maximise service life and reliability.

It also makes future maintenance, inspections and daily pre-start checks far easier, allowing potential issues to be identified quickly and keeping the unit operating safely and efficiently.

It’s never a like-for-like day here at MHF.

We were entrusted with a customer’s Mercedes-Benz 2663 Prime Mover, which came in with a failed primary air line servicing the airbag ride load system. A pretty important and crucial component when it comes to maintaining ride height and stability while under load.

We’re incredibly grateful that our customers continue to place their trust in us when it comes to working on these valuable, delicate and critical assets.

Locate. Remove. Fabricate. Test. Refit. Road test.

Good to go.

MHF’s resident contortionist, Big Laz, absolutely loved working on the Mercedes. Although he never actually said that, we know deep down he did. He loves a challenge and that’s exactly what he found upside down & backwards on the rig. Good work Laz.

McElroy TracStar Pipe Welder in for a routine RS23 inspection Audit and hose replacement.

This is what you call a serious bit of equipment.
Predominately used in long range big radius pipe applications, these poly pipe welders are unique to mobility and extremely quick in weld connection and assisting in laying pipe when water needs to be pump from mine pits to holding dams, this is what they send in.

You could make some serious garden hose out of this little unit.

MHF has an Opportunity.

We're looking for an experienced Hydraulic Hose Technicians to join our Moranbah and Blackwater team. This full-time, permanent role operates on a 7/7 roster.

You’ll work on a variety of machines and equipment across the mining and agricultural sectors—performing hose and fitting removal, manufacturing, and installation. You’ll be involved in planned and breakdown work, machine audits, onsite inspections, and problem-solving, all while working within RS23 guidelines. A fully equipped service vehicle, on-the-job training, and all required PPE and uniforms are provided.
