A dusty old Holden sitting untouched in an Adelaide shed for 37 years could now be worth an incredible $750,000.
But this isn’t just any Holden. It’s a VL Walkinshaw Commodore with only 20 kilometres on the clock. It has never been registered and reportedly remains completely original, right down to the decades of dust covering it.
For Holden collectors, this could be the ultimate time capsule. It was apparently put away when it was virtually brand new and hasn’t seen an Australian road since.
Expressions of interest are now being taken, with suggestions the incredibly rare Walkinshaw could fetch as much as three-quarters of a million dollars.
The big question is: would you carefully preserve the dust, or give it the most satisfying wash in Australian motoring history?
