UGP has a new home!

After a huge effort of renovation, setting up systems, hoists, tooling and logistics of moving, we are now online at our new location 33 Industrial Drive, Braeside, a 7 minuite drive from the old shop.

There are still some things to complete over the coming weeks but all drop-offs and collections for servicing, upgrades and tuning will be conducted from our new location.

Customers and staff will benefit from:

- New office and customer facilities
- 870sqm of newly finished warehouse space
- 14 dedicated parking spaces
- Engine build / assembly room
- Redesigned dyno cell for improved airflow
- Addition of on-site auto electrical capabilities (more details soon on this partnership)
- Content creation spaces for feature cars

Happy New Year from UGP!

2025 was a year of pushing past what we knew into what we now know. The year that showed us the industry has moved forward and customers need more. We gave solutions and results with completed projects we had not thought possible.

Underground Performance would like to thank our customers, friends and followers for helping us to move into 2026 with a completely fresh start in a new location late January.

We are very excited to share with you what’s coming and on offer in in 2026 🔥

A nice late result for James’s big build PTE6870 Next Gen RS3 8V.

784kw (1051hp) / 1069nm @ hubs after recalibration 🚀

This vehicle was recently acquired from QLD and previously built with a sleeved block and JDY components.

UGP gave the vehicle a full check over, renewed all service items including full braking system, replacing a shattered clutch pack and some smaller maintenance items.

Other works included a ground-up DS1 custom tune completed at UGP to James’s requirements for map switching functions and various boost levels to harness the Kelford ‘A’ cams while fixing drivability concerns along the way.

A Gt-innovation high pressure DSG calibration was needed to handle the huge torque-power output for the street and strip.

We are closed from 19th of December until the 5th of January for a well earned rest!

UGP will be moving mid January to our new ‘hub’ location close by and we can’t wait to share the details!
