On the weekend we celebrated our President, Dale Cockman, who was awarded Life Membership.
He started out with burnouts in 2006, and followed with some great success over the years in both Street Stocks and Production Sedans. Dale has held volunteer and committee positions since 2008, including Vice President and President roles. He leads by example, with initiative and direction, and his passion for the Moora Speedway club and wider racing community is undeniable.
Dale presides with fairness, always keeping the wellbeing and future success of the club at the forefront of every decision.

We’re finishing off our season with a bang! On tonight is our Moora Sedan Slam, with $10,000 in prize money up for grabs! All thanks to our Gold Sponsors, Rumbold Ford and Wendy Daniels and Silver Sponsor, AFGRI Equipment Moora.

Tonight we celebrate some legends of the club, with our Phill Farley Memorial Production Trophy Event and Des King Street Stock Cup. We also host Round 10 of the Junior Speedway Racing Association - JSRA series. You won’t want to miss this one!

📷 As per Speedway Australia Rules and Regulations, screenshots of your licence will now be accepted at the nominations box however must have been taken within 24 hours.
📲 A reminder that all one day pit passes should be purchased online with Speedway Australia prior to coming to the nominations box. Please bring proof of age if under 16.

🏁 PHILL FARLEY MEMORIAL PRODUCTION TROPHY EVENT 🏁

Next weekend we remember and celebrate a great man of our speedway family with our annual Phill Farley Production Trophy Memorial Event.

Phill had a distinguished career at Moora Speedway which started around 1976 racing in B Stock, then moving on to Super Stock and he was still racing in 1984.

He held many positions at the Central Midlands Speedway Association, including Club Scrutineer and Vice President, along with being the acting President when he was needed.

Outside of Speedway, Farley was larger than life. He was a long-serving teacher of Manual Arts at Central Midlands Senior High School and it was estimated he taught 9000 kids over 40 years, starting in 1974 to 2014. Many of our Speedway Members were taught by Phill and for them, it’s an honour for them to race in his name.
