Unfortunately I’m still having issues with the messages inbox not loading any new messages and I’m unable to access anything to resolve the issues and facebook/ meta say there’s nothing wrong with my account so I’m not sure what is actually going on here, I’ve got auto updates on so that’s not the issue.It does look like anything I want to do or post now will cost money to actually get it noticed or shared so maybe that’s a part of the problem they keep asking me to subscribe to and pay to get my posts noticed and shared to relevant feeds and pages , if I don’t I’m basically restricted with my posts etc
I’ll update if there’s any change to the issue

Spent this afternoon making brackets and linkages to repair a damaged MG convertible top mechanism, the owner actually had two damaged right hand sides and one needed to be made into a left side and the damaged parts replaced or repaired if possible along with reversing to mirror the other side

E55 style seat trim for an E38 big tank charger , black roebuck with white inserts using my factory covers as patterns to get the seats exactly as the factory did them.
Going in a very nice E38 with a parchment interior that’s pretty much spot on but the owner wants black and white, I did the same with my hemi orange VH Pacer going from parchment to black , after all muscle cars just look so right with black interiors .
More to come as I start getting through this one and it’s a full retrim so not a small job but one I’ll enjoy doing

Recovering some RT charger seats to resemble E55 seats / black with white inserts and I’m using my original RT charger seat covers for patterns as I know the repop covers are not exactly the same as original, for one the original covers use two different sizes of piping not the one size just as an example and little things where other trimmers think they’re correcting stretched vinyl by straightening out the seam/pattern when in fact the factory made the covers with that deviation in the shape for a reason.anyway enough of that I know that Chrysler were very much on a budget compared to say Ford or GMH when it came to manufacturing and the seat covers were no exception and they used off cuts of everything from vinyl hardtop to Rooflining vinyl and obviously calico and hessian on the lesser models ( Rangers etc )
Here’s a prime example of something I’ve always said to some so called Chrysler experts that the Chrysler by Chrysler didn’t actually have a straight beige vinyl top where fitted from factory unless it was a dealer fitted option , the number of times I’ve been told I’m wrong is hilarious and here’s proof positive with this cover using the exact Chrysler by Chrysler parchment hardtop vinyl not the nylex aftermarket beige and these pics show the Chrysler parchment and the other pics show the beige sample sitting over it to demonstrate the stark difference when you actually have a comparison of the factory vinyl of course there were quite a few available vinyl hardtop colours around back then whereas today unless you are prepared to search for them your choices are fairly limited locally . The other pics show the off cut headlining used in the listings of the covers and also some of the factory markings on the back of the covers made during the manufacturing of the covers
