Laurie Stewart Automotive Our retail mechanical workshop has expertise with the majority of makes of cars and light commercial vehicle, as do our 2 fully qualified mechanics.

We offer services such as registration inspections, fitting baby capsules, repairs and replacements of parts and services when required. Because our taxi fleet covers most of our overheads, we are able to offer you great value in labour and part. In 2016 we became the NRMA approved repairer for the district. Enjoy a complimentary taxi to anywhere in the Bowral or Mittagong area whilst we work on your vehicle.

We checked balance of passenger front wheel
Balance slightly out so adjusted

Wheel bearings have 1mm in play
We recommended replacement of the Uni Joint in the front tail shaft

⭐️The main purpose of function of the uni joint is to connect two shafts that are not in a straight line and allow them to move independently whilst transmitting power
⭐️It is a critical component of the driveshaft
⭐️This replacement will ensure better drivability and smooth and efficient power transfer

Inspected Brakes ✅
Rear Rotors had warped causing pulsation & vibrations ‼️through the seat & wheel
The vehicle also had ABS light 💡 warning
We scanned vehicle
We advised replacement of Wheel Speed Sensor

Having fully functioning brakes is essential
It’s important to ensure that they are checked regularly to ensure safety & effectiveness

We Inspect wear indicators on pads and check for thickness . We inspect Rotors/ Discs
We check for deposits of rust
We inspect Callipers, brake lines & fluids
