Been a busy couple months but figured I’d give an update to show some signs of life.
This old LTD came in with a bad tick coming from the engine.
A bit of diag and found some signs of some less than desirable contacts of valves and pistons causing the pushrods to bend and break on cylinders 1 & 3.
Engine has been stripped down and sent to the machine shop, getting ready for a fresh rebuild and a new cam and top end to liven the old 351 Cleveland up.

Bit of a different job this one, but finally got around to building a proper centre console for the old Charger.
Big thanks to Travis at Mackay Auto and Marine Trimming for doing the vinyl the console came out looking great if I don’t say so myself 👌

Hi everyone,
It’s with some mixed emotions I am making this announcement.
But I have been given an opportunity at work to move into a new role which will be requiring me to change from my 7/7 roster to 4/3, starting in the New Year.
Because I will now only have a limited time at home each week I will no longer be able to guarantee availability for servicing and will now be focusing more on longer term projects.

I appreciate the support I have had from everyone the last couple of years building my small business and creating some great relationships.

Please know I may still be able to complete services over my weekends at home but availability will be far more scarce and require me to prepare in advance.

Bit of work today on Pete’s Y62.
Fitting the big rig out with the lovely Colour Matched Raslarr Bullbar, which keeps full functionality of the parking sensors and front camera 👌👌

Been a bit behind due to other duties but had a ripper day at Dad’s Day in the Valley, with the Charger making Peoples choice top 10 and the Barra swapped 75 series taking the best Off-road for the day 😁

So after a bit over a year the personal project has finally come to an end with the Barra swapped 75 Series Land Cruiser.
Thanks to Ben at Auspeed for doing a killer job tuning the old girl and making some solid numbers on the “safe tune” haha.
And a big Thanks to everyone else that has lended a hand over the past year to finally get the Cruiser back on the road.

I never got a video of the final pull unfortunately but ended up with 491whp and 712nm of torque 👌👌

Been a while since I’ve posted, but there’s been plenty happening still at PVP.
One of the biggest projects that’s coming to an end is the Barra Swap to the 75 Series Land Cruiser.
After almost 500,000 k’s the old 1HZ finally gave up and so something a bit more modern and efficient was decided to be put in its place.

A bit of a busy week last week working on the engine swap in Pete’s HZ Ute.
The little 253 and Trimatic were replaced with a healthy 308 and TH350 combination.
Paired with the Pacemaker Extractors the 308 looks right at home in the engine bay and sounds even better.
