My friend Robert Bothwell sent me this photo he took at Noojee Tool Shed located on Loch Valley Rd, Noojee VIC. We have a Glorious WF Austin 3.38N resting in pieces 🥴 also we have a poorly but still wonderful TJ Bedford keeping it company.. poor old girls. They need loving 😆

3 Way anyone? 😆 Austins 3 Way Van (Acess to load from the drivers compartment, the side sliding door and another at the rear) model K8. It was a 25cwt (1-1/4 proper ton) and was powered by the tried and true Austin 16hp petrol 2.2 litre ohv 4 cylinder as used in the A70 and many later Morris and Austin trucks & Vans. The van had a very short wheelbase and this made it good moving through towns and city streets. End of production was 1952 when replaced by the LDA Austin Van. l think As the bulk of these vans worked in cities where there's no storage one can only assume they were sent to salvage yards at retirement. Causing low survivor numbers. A great design of the time l personally really love it.
