🎂 70 Years Young & Celebrating Ocean Beach Style! 🥂🌴

Last night was one of those nights that reminds us what makes Ocean Beach Tourist Park so special. 💙

Two of our wonderful regular winter guests celebrated their 70th birthdays, and of course the whole park got involved! 🎉

We gathered together for a BBQ dinner, a few drinks, plenty of laughs, a game or two and then finished the night with a fantastic sing-along. 🎶🍔🥂

Our winter guests arrive as travellers, but after spending weeks together, sharing afternoon chats, BBQs, birthdays and plenty of laughs, they become one big Ocean Beach family.

And judging by the singing last night, we may also have discovered a few very enthusiastic performers. 😂🎤

Happy 70th Birthday to two very special members of our Ocean Beach family! 🎂❤️

Getting around the Gold Coast just got a whole lot easier!

The G:link light rail is now right near Ocean Beach Tourist Park, making it super easy to leave the car behind and head out exploring. 😎

For just 50 cents a trip, you can jump on and head towards Burleigh Heads, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Southport, Helensvale and plenty of stops in between.

💳 No digging around for coins either. Just tap on and tap off using your go card, credit card or debit card. Remember to use the same card when you tap off!

And the best part? Trams run regularly throughout the day, so there’s no need to organise parking or nominate a driver. 😉

🌴 What You May Not Know About Our Little Park

Ocean Beach Tourist Park is small, quiet and relaxed, and that’s exactly what many of our guests love about it. 💙

We’re especially popular with mature travellers who enjoy a slower style of holiday. Many of our regular guests have been coming back for years, settling into their favourite spot, catching up with familiar faces and enjoying the simple things.

You’ll often see someone sitting outside their caravan with a good book, a coffee and a bit of sunshine. ☕📖
What you will find is peace and quiet, friendly neighbours, our little book library and Miami Beach close by. 🌊

Then around 4pm, some of our guests make their way to the camp kitchen for a daily catch-up. There’s usually plenty of chatting, laughing and sharing stories from the day.

And if you feel like a little more action, Burleigh, Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise are all within easy reach.

So you can enjoy the Gold Coast when you want to, then come back, put your feet up and enjoy the quiet again.

This morning Darren has taken on the very important role of Ocean Beach weather forecaster.

His qualifications?
🎣 Likes fishing
🏖️ Likes the beach
🍹 Knows when Happy Hour starts

So basically… fully qualified. 😂

🏖️ More than just a place to stay! 🏉🍔

Last night was another fantastic night here at Ocean Beach Tourist Park!

We had the AFL playing on the big screen, guests relaxing together and Darren firing up the BBQ to cook over 65 hamburgers! 🍔🔥

This is what we love about our little park. You can spend the day enjoying the beautiful Gold Coast, wander down to the beach, then come back and enjoy nights like this with other guests.

We love creating a friendly, relaxed place where people arrive for a holiday and leave with some great memories. 💙
