🔋 50,000KM IN — Does the BYD Seal STILL hold up?

After 2 years and 50,000 kilometres of real-world family driving around Melbourne and beyond, I've put together the most detailed long-term wear and tear report I've done yet on my 2024 BYD Seal Premium — including a full battery health check using an OBD2 scanner!

Here's the quick verdict:
✅ Paint — Buttery smooth, zero orange peel (just watch that front bumper for stone chips!)
✅ Interior — Still looks brand new at a glance. Piano black buttons? Somehow perfect.
✅ Rotating screen motor — Absolutely rock solid. A++.
⚠️ Side bolster — Showing some wear. A known point to keep an eye on.
🔋 Battery State of Health — 95.08% after 50,000km. Right on track!

I'm projecting this car could hit 450,000–500,000km before reaching that 80% battery threshold. Not bad at all for a Chinese EV! 🇨🇳⚡

Reviewers usually only get a week or two with press cars, but I am lucky enough to be an owner of a 2024 BYD Seal and I can put it under the microscope to give you the raw, unfiltered truth after two years on the road.
