Custom modifications

This refrigerated box was modified to have double doors and a side step installed. Hardware supplied was brand new however, we were able to reuse the panel to make them into the doors. We also lay 5mm aluminium treadplate over the existing fibreglass floor.

Our customer decided that their existing dry freight body no longer met their delivery needs. As a solution, we successfully modified the passenger side frame only to be able to convert it to a curtansider. The drivers side remains the same with its FRP panel!

Mid repair progress shots! 📸
We removed the tailgate seals to discover the rear frame was cracked and weak in each corner. So far, we have resecured each corner section and have also reinforced the internal upright channels (sleeve work) Once the welds are softened out, the frame will be resprayed white and new tailgate seals fitted. The vehicle then leaves us for Hobart on long term rental!
