The videos said 70 day build, but Raff basically started this thing 3 weeks ago. Let’s start with the motor. Originally was going to be a RB25, but Raff found 8 blown pistons between 2 blocks and decided to pull the pin and went with a spare 30 block he had. Got the 25 head done and sent it.

Dyno time thanks to DLS Automotive Pty Ltd , and we had a stack of problems. Overboosting issues, leaking water pump, but all in all got it tuned.

Raff worked on the car from 10am Friday night through to 6am Saturday morning when we finally loaded the car on the trailer, had a sleep in the car on the way to the track, unloaded and went out for his first few sessions, which ultimately weren’t too bad other than a binding issue with the steering.

Thanks to will argoon _goonsgarage_ , he found Raff missed a few bolts in the front end and, to top it off, had bent tie rods, Gooney went to work Sunday morning before we even got to the track to tackle it (honestly, the guys a mad man).

Sorted that, and then Gooney gave it a little tickle on the alignment but still had issues as the tie rods I had were too short but we sent it anyway.

Qualifying was great. First ever drift comp and Raff scored pretty well, ending 20th and missing the round of 16 by 1 point. For a dude that’s not only never driven the car or ever done a comp we’re pretty happy with that

Quick thanks to Panagraphix for sorting the last minute stickers, ZAC for staying up Friday night to finish off the car, Isaac van Kruyssen for putting a bunch of hours in with me, Sleeka Spares for all the parts and guidance, and again will argoon _goonsgarage_ for being a fkn legend, keeping the spirits high and helping out, and as always Drifting SA for putting on a great event.

Now to get some seat time and do a full season 😈

.fest weekend with the crew. Got to finally hang with and got to tick off a bucket list item in giving an MCSA shirt. Was awesome showing the Cressy off and i can’t wait to come back (maybe with Raff next time 😉)

The boys absolutely smashed the Wildtrak out of the park!!!. Anth has no idea about 4bie stuff so we left it to and he came back with a 3” lift, IMS wheels wrapped with some 35” .tyres.australia RAZR’s. god does it look SPICY. Few more things left and we’re gonna send it 🔥 make sure to give the boys some love if you all of your 4x4 stuff!

Unfortunately locktoberfest didn’t go to plan. Anthony got about 6 laps until his tailshaft broke a uni and couldn’t get fixed. Raff blew a gearbox in the second session which he fixed but then his first session with the new box unfortunately he blew a ring BAD. But that is Motorsport! We will be back in the new year which we are contemplating doing a few competition rounds so if anyone wants to jump on board for a season hit us up. Shoutout to .co who took us for a ride in his WILD au my god does that car f**k. Special shoutout to .sacco for allowing Raff and Anthony drive the LS f**k-mobile. what a car (we want LS) lastly another shoutout to everyone that lent a hand over the weekend we appreciate you all especially for driving like 600kms for us overnight to get parts. anyway that recaps our weekend! See you next year with bigger and better setups lessssgooooo

Holy f**k. We’re currently on our way to for locktoberfest. What can we say, a challenging last month and a bit trying to build an entire car and we’re basically there! There is so many people I need to thank. Firstly raff my god if it wasn’t for you this car wouldn’t be driving. for all the tech advice and tune. for the haltech gear and all of the boys that came round and helped/lent tools etc!! Special mention to my fam who haven’t even seen me for the last month because I’ve been so busy working my day job and workingn on an au 😂😂 Now let’s shake this car down and see how we go 🤘🏼 p.s id you see us at the track come say hi! 👋🏻
