Victorian Mini Club Inc

Victorian Mini Club Inc The Victorian Mini Club Inc. is based in Melbourne. We have around 1000 members.

The VMCI was established in 1993 but was an amalgamation of the Morris 850 Club (est. 1962) and the Mini Car Club of Victoria (est. 1977). The club has been affiliated with CAMS since its inception and is involved in all aspects of motoring with regular tours around the countryside, driver education events, monthly meetings with guest speakers, show ‘n’ shines, vehicle displays, as well as a range

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of life member John Moore – known to many of us as Speedy.

John was a member of the Morris 850 club, a predecessor to the current Victorian Mini Club, where upon in 2020 he was recognised and awarded a Life Membership.

He loved his Morris 1100 and entered many events with the Mini Club and Historic Rally Association, and was always there to help others or entertain them with a chat.

John passed away unexpectedly earlier this week.

The tour that John was organising for us on September 20th called “You have been here before” will still be running, though reorganised as a memorial to Speedy. Official start is 9:30am at Yarra Glen, but anyone who wants to join us early for a chat and a BYO cuppa is most welcome.

John will be sadly missed.
