XA & XB Falcon Switch and Dash Restorations High quality Refurbishment of XA & XA Falcon switches dashes and interior parts The techniques I use restore original parts to factory finish or better.

I restore various switches, dashes, clocks, consoles and other interior parts as well as some exterior parts mainly for XA-XC falcon. (and its usually the latter)

Much of my work has been supplied to trophy winning cars and award winning restorers. The components I restore for people all over Australia are of identical consistant quality, so it doesnt matter if you are buiding a $150K show stopp

er or a weekender everyone gets exactly the same quality. I have a very simple philosiphy which is " if it isn't good enough to put it in my car , I wouldnt expect anyone else to put it in theirs". This is something I do part time , not a full time job. As such I can afford to spend more time getting the part looking perfect . As I dont rely on this income to pay my bills, Im not tempted to send something back thats “almost right”. Please feel free to send me a message or call if you have any questions

Looks like old mate had a crack at this one . ( not the current owner) The arm on this indicator switch must have been very sloppy , how do you fix that ? By riveting a piece of steel to the pivot pin so the arm doesn’t move at all . You Beauty!! 👍

You get your original switches back and we are still cheaper than the rare spares reproduction switches. ( stacks cheaper )

Filled in the extra holes for what ever gadgets were used in the 80’s and repaired the cracks on the instrument cluster and it’s absolutely perfect.
Just need to finish up a few more bits and pieces and this one goes back to the owner who thought well ahead and gave it to me when the shell went to the panel beaters . As such he will have this back just before the car is painted

For anyone wanting to buy my refurbished switches, I’ve just done a batch for one of my resellers Dave Mecham ( Grumpy Dave’s Auto parts ) he’s not grumpy at all , he’s a good bloke . Contrary to popular belief, I can’t walk on water or make the blind see again.
This clock has suffered a catastrophic failure in the form of a fire , most probably due to the fusible link being reset using solder which melts at 150 degrees instead of a fusible alloy which melts at 50. Don’t try and fix these things at home people or you may have to pull over to the side of the road and try and put out the fire using your pants. I’m surprised the people that sent this to me actually did
