Hello Bentleigh East neighbours,
For those who don’t know me, my name is Michael (Omer) Kimchi and I’ve been a driving instructor in Melbourne for the past 18 years.
Teaching people to drive has never been “just a job” for me – it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. Every learner is different, and helping someone become a safe, confident driver is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching thousands of students of all ages and backgrounds. Many people in our local community know me, and one of the things that makes me smile the most is that I’m now teaching the children of parents who learned with me years ago! I think that’s the best compliment an instructor can receive.
I’ve also helped hundreds of migrants from all over the world convert their overseas licences and understand the Victorian road rules with confidence.
Whether you’re starting with zero driving experience, preparing for your VicRoads drive test, converting an overseas licence, or simply looking to build confidence behind the wheel, I’ll tailor each lesson to your needs.
I also have experience working with learners with additional needs, including students supported through NDIS, providing patient, calm and professional instruction.
Lessons are conducted in a new, fully equipped automatic dual-control vehicle, creating a safe and comfortable learning environment.
