Hello, goodbye
and
thank you,
to all past Studio 246 clients.
For 3 exciting years Studio 246 has been helping talented people from Melbourne and across Australia bring their creative projects to fruition.
I have greatly enjoyed working with you all and from the feed back I get everyone seems to have liked the Studio 246 space.
Sadly, Studio 246 will no longer be taking bookings from 3rd of December 2012.
However, this is good news for anyone who wants theatre equipment, art materials, video / photography lighting, building materials / partitions, 60's & 70's vintage furniture and decor.
All this and more will be up for sale , with past clients and friends will be given 'first dibs' on the loot from Monday 3rd December, with a final garage sale planned for Saturday 8th Dec.
I will try to photograph and post as many items as possible on Facebook prior to 3rd Dec, but there are still 2 clients booked in the studio until that date.
A rough idea of what is available:
2x 4ch DMX controlled dimmers,
1x Behringer LC2412 lighting desk
4x 500w fresnel lights
1x 650w follow spot
various halogen lighting fixtures
50 folding black chairs: good quality, very good condition, Ikea
8x racks of 5 folding vintage theatre seats = 40 seats
2x Daylight CFL photo/video lighting heads with stands, reflectors and diffusers.
2x Kino style daylight fluorescent heads with reflector panels and stands
various tripods and stands
smoke machine: small, used once.
Generic DMX controller: good for use with intelligent lights, party lighting etc. not suitable for theatre show control.
designer glass table: a single slab of toughened glass bent into a U shape with beveled edges
Other vintage, rare, unique or classic furniture and household bits.
A selection of my artwork.
All sorts of rare and unusual technical parts, tools, kits and half finished projects at garage sale prices.
The distilled essence of 25 years collecting interesting opp-shop and abandoned stuff
Thank you all for being involved in making Studio 246 an 'excellent adventure'.
Best of luck with your future creative endeavours,
Leon
