🚗📢 Rally Update 📢🚗

We have some important news to share!

Due to the ongoing fuel shortage, Sh*tbox Rally has officially postponed the Autumn Rally. The event will now run from July 10–18 (previously May 1–9).

The rally is still 100% happening, just a little later in the year - giving us more time to get everything sorted for the big adventure! 💪

Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy re-booking our route and accommodation for the drive, and with these changes, we’ve decided to delay our Hot Wheels Distance Challenge fundraiser by a few weeks as well.

📅 A new race & livestream date will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

🎟️ Good news though - we still have a few cars left up for grabs!
If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now’s your chance to secure a car before they’re all gone, send us a message🚗💨

📅 We’ve now locked in the race & livestream date:
Sunday 12th April, where we’ll race all 50 cars and see which one travels the furthest!

🚗💨 HOT WHEELS DISTANCE CHALLENGE 💨🚗

We’re excited to launch our very own Hot Wheels Distance Challenge, all in support for cancer research! (And Tj wanted to play with some Hotwheels cars)

We’re building a custom Hot Wheels track, and it’s all about one thing - distance. Which car will travel the furthest and take out the top prize?

🎟 How it works:
• We have 50 Hot Wheels cars available
• Each car equals one entry - $25 per car
• All cars will race on our custom-built track (Photos to come soon)
• Look at the photos attached & choose your car number by commenting below or sending us a private message

🏆 Prizes up for grabs: Top 4 cars that go the longest distance
🥇 1st – $200
🥈 2nd – $150
🥉 3rd – $100
4️⃣ 4th – $50
😅 Plus a prize for the worst-performing car (sometimes its impressive how little they go, just like the real rally)
👀 And maybe a few mystery prizes along the way…

🔥 Funds raised will go directly to supporting Cancer Council’s vital cancer research.
The race will be drawn live on this page once all 50 numbers are sold, so everyone can watch the action unfold. We’ll confirm the date once full, but we’re aiming for Mid-February 🎉

Firstly a huge shoutout and thank you to everyone who helped from getting the supplys, cooking, serving, setting up, packing down, and keeping spirits high during the rush, helping making the custom aprons and even crying with us on new years eve cutting 20kg of onions 😂(our fridge still smells of onion)
And just generally kept us alive at the Bunnings sausage sizzle on new years day after too many drinks and not enough sleep!
You legends are the best, and we’re so grateful for every single one of you 🫶

The day was a huge success! Everything flowed well, it was non-stop busy, we sold out, topped up and sold out again with only minutes to spare!

Thanks to everyone’s hard work (and the love of a good snag), we raised an amazing $1,977 on the day for the Sh*tbox Rally! 🚗💥 Bringing our total to $4827 raised so far.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the support, laughs, and sore feet. We can’t wait to keep this momentum going and smash past our $5000 goal ❤️🌭🚗

Hey Everyone!

Some exciting news! - Chelsey & Tj have signed up & been accepted to do a new rally! This time in Autumn 2026 Rally from Port Douglas to Melbourne May 1st - May 9th 2026

We will shortly re-name this page to our new team name - Running Late

Please stay tuned as we will be posting some new raffles, fundraising updates & maybe even a Trivia night to come!

Many thanks again for the support Kurt & I had over the Winter 2024 Rally - I will also post some very long overduephotos of our experience on that rally soon :)
