Vijen's Acid rush BA decided after 400,000ks to brake the mixer shaft!
Was a very good run on this job and got Vijen back on the road quickly and efficiently.
Also replaced all brake pads and rotors didn't get any pictures of those tho 😔

Liz from Exact BAS and Bookkeeping called up for some general work on her 2011 Kluger
Booked in for a service and some front brake pads and rotors!
Liz's car was in fantastic condition inside and out!
Liz had noticed that there was an issue with the brakes! Steering wheel shaking under braking which is a sign of warped rotors!
So after pulling the rotors out I had noticed the slide pins were locked up solid! Causing the brakes pads to stay on ever so slightly.
Regreased all the slide pins and replaced brake pads and rotors for an excellent driving vehicle.

Got the van in for some windows tinting!!
Highly recommended All About Window Tinting in Croydon!
Top quality finish at affordable prices!
The van came out with limo tint rear and side windows! And darkest legal at 35% on the front windows.
Massive difference straight away and the van is keeping so much cooler inside!

Cameron called us out to replace his rear brake pads and a rear upper control arm bush.
This job was definitely not fun on the moving concrete underneath me!

Radley called up last week and booked us in for a new fuel pump.

Matisse's gorgeous BA XR6 decided to come up with a misfire.
As expected when I got the phone call I suspected a bad rocker cover gasket. Sure enough while we started with just the spark plugs and coils as soon as i removed the first coil there was oil in the spark plug tube!!!
Came back a day later and fitted a nice fresh new rocker cover kit which included
-pcv grommet
-throttle body gasket
-spark plug seals
-rocker cover gasket
-vct seals
-coil cover seal
All up taking just over an hour we got Matisse back on the roadwith some fresh plugs and coils!

Even our cars get the better of us sometimes.
My partners BF XR6 2.5 really copped it over this heat cycle, with numerous issues coming up that have now been addressed what started as a minor coolant leak turned into a coolant leak where every 2nd day we would have to put 3-4 litres of water in the overflow!

I finally got the car when we didn't have to go out and was able to tackle this o-ring that was looking abit flat. Replaced with a fresh new one to fix the leak behind the waterpump.

Another reoccurring issue was the constant overheating when idling!!
Today we fixed this problem with a new thermostat and seal.
I continued to test this to ensure I had found the problem I placed the old thermostat in boiling water and it didn't even budge abit. I wasn't even able to push the thermostat open with my hands!!! Immediately ordered the new part and fitted to the car.
Driving almost as good as the day she came out.

Liam bought his FG XR6 in for a power steering pump.
Sadly Liam's power steering pump decided it did not want to seal anymore and sprayed oil anywhere and everywhere.
In tail this caused the alternator to say goodbye and caused liam a great deal of problems!
We got liam back on the road with a second hand good condition power steering pump.
Liam couldn't be happier

Sams 450+ RWKW BA XR6 Turbo back fired and blew the intake to peices!!!
Went out to Sams house last week and removed the intake manifold!
Got sent back off to JD Customs for repairs.
Few days later shes back on the road and that tr6060 is making her scream down the highways again.

So with the recent closure of the MLB Repairs & Dismantling workshop things are going to be abit hectic for awhile.

Due to high demand the name will continue!
MLB Repairs will be moving into mobile mechanical work, please dont hesitate to call up and make bookings still!!!
