We have a Tyre Fitter role available at our Meandarra premises which is located 2 hours south-west of Dalby on the Western Downs and only 4 hours west of Brisbane.

We at Craigs Welding and Tyre Service are seeking an experienced tyre fitter to oversee and be hands-on with day-to-day tyre fitting operations at our Meandarra business. The successful candidate will be an experienced tyre-fitter and able to work effectively with the office manager and owners.

The business services the local area with tyres and a number of farm products (oils, bearings, hydraulics, water fittings, etc).
The successful candidate must be prepared to be hands on and have previous tyre fitting experience and knowledge of the tyre industry.

Day to day tasks will include:
• tyre fitting of car, truck, tractor and earthmoving tyres
• ordering and maintaining stock
• service call outs to customers in the field (light truck licence required)
• attending to incoming freight (forklift experience required)
• liaising with our current overall manager and owners to achieve a happy, successful and productive work environment

The successful applicant will receive:

• a four- bedroom brick home with solar power, which is located adjacent to both our business and local primary school
• the opportunity to live in a quiet rural town

Essential skills and attributes include:
• friendly, efficient customer service skills
• being a team player, willing to assist others

Wheel alignment experience, welding experience and any other retail experience would also be looked on favorably.
