Ever found yourself trying to position a crane truck in a tight or tricky job site with no one around to spot you?

That’s where HMF + Volvo Self Drive comes in.

Self Drive allows the truck to be controlled directly from the HMF crane’s radio remote at a controlled speed. So, instead of constantly jumping in and out of the cab to reposition the truck, you can move the vehicle from outside the cab while keeping a clear view of your surroundings.

For operators like Coast 2 Coast, this makes it much easier to get the truck, crane and outriggers into the perfect position - especially when working alone or in confined spaces.

Machinery is often impacted more than owners realise by things such as worn parts left too long, hydraulic contamination, corrosion and high-cycle use.
