🔧 4JJ1 Intake Manifold Clean & Swirl Flap Removal
This 4JJ1 came to us for an intake manifold clean 🧽🧼
While the manifold was removed, we also took the opportunity to remove the swirl flaps. Over time, the retaining screws can loosen and back out, potentially allowing the flaps or hardware to enter the engine.
If this occurs, it can result in serious internal engine damage and costly repairs.
Removing the swirl flaps provides peace of mind and eliminates this potential failure point, while the intake manifold clean helps restore airflow and overall engine performance.
Another 4JJ1 preventative maintenance job completed ✅

WE LOVE A TIDY 4JJ1 AND THIS ONE IS NO EXCEPTION‼️

This MUX came through the workshop last week for a bunch of goodies! 🎁

The boys got stuck into the clutch as soon as it arrived and then after it came off the hoist, we got stuck into a Cross Country Intercooler and PSICO Performance Airbox.

This one then spent it’s time on the dyno, getting the tune dialed in 😈

This one kicked off at 276NM/102HP and finished up at 471NM/178HP, providing a 70% increase in peak Torque and a 74% increase in peak Power, improving the drivability of this MUX massively🔥🔥🔥

Whether you have an Isuzu, a Toyota or an American Truck, our team are here to help you improve the drivability of your vehicle. Our team can be contacted on 0423208437 or via the contact form on our website.
