ding, racing and enthusiasm. While still in the womb, Chris was exposed to motorbikes through his parents who used to tour on a 1971 Yamaha RT1 360 (gloss black of course), and the love of old Yamahas has never faded. His first mini bike was a 1973 Yamaha GT80 which he learned to ride in the outback of New South Wales near Bourke, and then a succession of Honda XL's became the choice, before again a two stroke Yamaha appeared in the form of a 1980 IT175. With experience and qualifications in Graphic Design, Motorcycle Mechanics, Marketing and Sales, Chris Langham of Speedgeek Custom Cycles is the real deal and lives life on two wheels.

2024 Speedgeek Custom Cycles Postie Bike GP Team.
Speedgeek GP Team was formed in honour of a great mate Christian CJ Langham. One of CJs dreams was to put a team in the Postie GP and Nurture young talent, unfortunately CJ was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in 2022. A few mates Tim Reeks, Brody Marshall and Todd Herbert, decided to enter the GP in CJs honour, 1 bike has now turned into 3 and 6 young riders 16/18 years from Cessnock and Kurri have jumped on board.
CJ would be chuffed with this and I’m sure he will be looking down supporting us and we are hoping we can get some more support from mates and local businesses, if you would like to get on board and sponsor Speedgeek please get in contact with Tim, Brody, Todd or myself. Come along and support the team, Sunday 27th October this year. We will introduce the young team members over the next few weeks. Racer Jerry Tim Barber

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we let you know that Christian (Chris, CJ) lost his life tragically on December 1.
We are meeting to celebrate his life tomorrow (details in image).
Bike riders please ride, as CJ would have loved.

An after party will follow at the Work Shed from around 3pm for close friends and family (media not welcome!).
