🌧️⛈️ RACE MEETING CANCELLED – SATURDAY 24TH OCTOBER ⛈️🌧️

🏁 Unfortunately, Mother Nature has other plans for us this weekend! 🏁

Maryborough Speedway regrets to announce that our race meeting scheduled for Saturday, 24th October 2026, has been CANCELLED due to the forecasted bad weather. 🌧️

With the rainfall already received impacting track conditions and making preparations unsuitable for racing, combined with further wet weather forecast over the coming days, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday night's meeting.

This decision has not been made lightly, but we believe it is in the best interests of our competitors, officials, volunteers and spectators to make the call early rather than risk a last-minute cancellation

💙💛 A massive thank you to all our competitors, sponsors, volunteers and supporters for your continued understanding and support.

We appreciate everyone who was preparing to join us this Saturday and hope to see you all back trackside very soon!

🏁🔥 Keep an eye on our page for updates on our upcoming events. We can't wait to get back to racing!

🏁 MARYBOROUGH SPEEDWAY – WE NEED A NEW CLUB SECRETARY! 🏁

📣 We're looking for someone to join our team!

Maryborough Speedway is on the lookout for a new Club Secretary to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes!

Our current Secretary will be stepping back from the day-to-day responsibilities of the role due to increasing work commitments. However, she isn't disappearing completely! She will remain involved throughout the 2026/2027 season, assisting at race meetings and helping with a smooth transition for the incoming Secretary.

💻 WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

- Managing club correspondence and emails
- Assisting with general club administration
- Preparing meeting agendas and minutes
- Maintaining club records and documentation
- Working alongside the committee to keep the club running smoothly

🏁 YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A SPEEDWAY EXPERT!

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, has good communication skills and is willing to be part of a dedicated team.

You'll have the support of the current Secretary to help you learn the ropes, so you won't be thrown in the deep end!

❤️ OUR CLUB RUNS ON VOLUNTEERS!

Behind every successful race meeting is a team of people putting in the effort to make it happen. This is a great opportunity to get involved, contribute to the future of Maryborough Speedway and become part of our speedway family.

📩 INTERESTED IN THE ROLE?
