From the ANDERSON DIESEL team, we would like to send our deepest condolences to Lyons Diesel Maintenance team and Darryn’s family at this horrible time.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the sad news of Darryn’s passing.

Darryn was not just one of our mechanics but our family. One of a kind, salt of the earth, just down right awesome bloke. A fierce protectiveness for those he loved and worked alongside. He is going to be missed more than words could ever say.

Our workshop will be closed for the remainder of today to allow us to start to come to terms with the loss of Darryn.

Again, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support and understanding.

Our prayers, thoughts and condolences are going out to Cass, Tess and Darryn’s family at this saddest of times.

What a night in the Cherrie Racing Q22! 🥇

Well what a way to bounce back after getting upside down in the lead a few weeks ago in Gladstone, we ended up timing in 2nd quick which put us off pole in heat 2, we managed to get the win in that and then the second round of heats put me out of position 6 and we managed to end up 3rd, this meant we started out of position 2 for the feature, we ended up getting the jump and a early lead and then had to fight hard for it in the end with a few slide jobs back and fourth!

Massive thankyou to Brendan and Jenny Cherrie for this amazing opportunity!

Also a big credit to all the crew on the night Harry, Brendan, Damo and Dad for the pointers

Expanding Field Service and Workshop is requiring a mechanic that has the ability to work autonomously, and within a team on a wide variety of mining equipment, on road transport, earthmoving, and mobile/fix plant. A mechanic that is highly motivated and has the ability to complete day to day tasks within the environment.
We pride ourself on supplying the best quality of labour and work through out the Fraser coast and beyond.
We carry out minimum serving and majority component over hauls, hydraulic diagnostics and repairs.
