This week, we completed a Holden Colorado injectors, timing belt, and water pump job. It also had the wiring to injector #4 damaged, causing intermittent idling/running issues. These models are common for wiring gremlins.
It's all wired up and running smoothly now👌

This week, we did an oil cooler replacement on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is a common fail point. The plastics are prone to cracking, and the seals go flat and pinch. The oil leak will look like it's a rear main as it travels through the valley and down over the bellhousing. This requires pulling down the top of the motor to investigate 🔎
The seals clearly failed on this one with a slight crack in the side.

We're a little quiet in the shop today.
This past weekend, we had to say goodbye to our old boy, Bob Dog.
Our boy, who's been here through it all. I'm sure plenty of you will miss his friendly and loving nature. ❤️
Pearl is on her own now and got some shoes to fill (lucky she had a good teacher).

This Mercury Grande came in the get running. Its been sitting 26 years, had mice through it, computer melted and stale fuel, but we still got her going. Now, to go right through the vehicle and sort out what needs immediate attention. Like the carby that leaks fuel 🫣

We finished the big TD42 pump job off yesterday afternoon 🙌 Shes runs and drives, has no hiccups, or stalls out anymore from a weak pump. We replaced her belts in the front as well and took her for her test drive. Now she's good to go 👌
