🏁 SPRINGMOUNT RACEWAY PRESENTS: COME & TRY DRAGS 🏁

Never been down the track at Springmount Raceway? This is your chance to experience drag racing in a safe, controlled and completely pressure-free environment!

Come & Try Drags is designed especially for first-timers. Our experienced drivers and track crew will guide you through the entire process—from signing on and entering the staging lanes to making your first pass and collecting your time slip.

Need some extra confidence? An experienced driver can ride in the passenger seat with you, and you can also take a passenger ride in one of our street cars before getting behind the wheel yourself.

🚗 Registered cars and bikes only
🔁 Make as many passes as time allows
👥 Share your vehicle with your mates—each driver simply needs their own entry

This activity is only for people who have never raced at Springmount Raceway before.

• 12 noon — Start-line tutorial and demonstrations
• 12.15–3pm — On track

Changes to racing times tomorrow - please read!!

And if you haven't nominated yet, get your butts into gear guys - we want you to come racing with us ... beginners welcome!!

Online noms close 4pm today but nominations accepted at the gate tomorrow!

Ok guys and girls, due to a lack of entries in tomorrow's 660 No Prep & CNW Diesel nights, we have decided to make some changes rather than cancel the day.

Here is the new plan.

We will combine both sessions, into 1 as a "Run What Ya Brung" event. So, you can enter whatever ya got, from bikes, cars, utes, 4wds, even body trucks and prime movers.
Registered & Unregistered vehicles allowed, just make sure your ride is in good condition and suitable to be on track.

Session will now be from 4pm till 8pm, and there will be some sort of eliminator to finish out the night.
There might even be a prize for "Best Burnout"

For those that have already entered, you will be transferred to the new session and credited accordingly if you entered both sessions.

Remember, full length clothing, enclosed footwear and a helmet less than 10 years old required for anyone going on track.

Passengers 16 & over are permitted, please ensure that they sign on and have the same attire as the driver.

Online entry closes at 4pm today, however you can enter on the day at the admin shed.

Gates open 2pm, on track from 4pm.
Spectators $20 per person, kids 12 & under FREE

Registered street cars, tough streeters and high-horsepower builds going head-to-head on a no-prep surface. It’s unpredictable, challenging and seriously good fun!

💨 CNW ELECTRICAL DIESEL NIGHT — from 5pm
Diesels, prime movers, 4WDs and diesel-powered machines of all shapes and sizes—come out and show us what you’ve got!

Our workshop is closed while our team enjoys a well-earned break. We’ll be back at 8:00am Monday 3rd August!

ATTENTION, guys and girls. Entries are low for this weekend.

So, With this Saturdays No Prep Street Meet and CNW Diesel Night coming up fast, we have decided to extend the early bird entry fee.

Plus, we are trying to make things easier.

We know that some people might be struggling with the new entry system, so come on out and we will help you get sorted, also answer any questions, and on the day entries are fine as well.

We are also allowing FREE passenger bands for both the No Prep & Diesel Night, just make sure your passengers bring full length clothing, enclosed footwear and a helmet and make sure they sign on.
If you have never hit the track before, don't be nervous, we are here to help and teach you how it all works, we can even put you in the passenger seat first to show you how easy it is, and how much fun you can have.

Remember, you don't need a drag car to go on a drag strip, its open to all makes and models, and you just have to be over 17 to enter.
