A lot has changed over the years, but we still believe in good service, quality products, and helping our customers find the right battery for the job.

After rectifying this little issue, we though it was time for a public service announcement.🚨📢

Electrical safety in RVs is often overlooked—but it’s one of the biggest causes of fires.

Poor crimping and incorrect fuse installation can lead to high resistance, overheating, and even electrical arcing. In a moving vehicle with constant vibration, a loose connection won’t stay “good enough” for long.

🔧 A proper crimp = solid, tight, low-resistance connection
🔥 A bad crimp = heat, failure, potential fire

Fuses are just as critical. They must be:
✔ Correctly rated (not oversized)
✔ Installed close to the battery
✔ Properly connected with no loose terminals

An oversized fuse or poor connection can allow cables to overheat before protection kicks in—defeating the whole purpose.

If you’re running inverters, batteries, or solar in your RV, don’t cut corners. Good connections and correct protection aren’t optional—they’re essential.

Stay safe, and if in doubt, get it checked by a professional.
