🔥 **SATURDAY NIGHT ON THE ROAD TRIP!** 🔥
One of the best parts of the Road Trip Drag Challenge isn't just what happens on the track — it's what happens when everyone gets together at the end of the day!
Saturday night saw everyone come together for our traditional **Road Trip Dinner**, a few cold drinks, plenty of laughs and, of course, our fun awards and DYO Challenge presentations.
And a huge shout-out to **Sandy, our Café Manager extraordinaire**, who worked her magic in the kitchen and cooked up an absolute feast! 👏
🏆 **Now, onto the DYO Challenges!**
We had two nights of racing and two very happy winners taking home $500 each, thanks to **Trent from Vidler Electrical**.
🏁 **Friday Night – Glenn Young**
Glenn has been Road Tripping with us since 2017, so it was great to see him take home the cash!
🏁 **Saturday Night – Jenny Cavallaro**
One of our Springmount stalwarts, Jenny showed everyone how it's done and pocketed a handy $500!
🥈 And then there's **Dierdree Viero!**
Not content with being runner-up on Friday night, Dierdree went and did it all again on Saturday! Two nights, two runner-up finishes and $200 in her pocket. Not a bad weekend's work!
A big thank you to **Tony & Penny Anderson** and **Bob & Ness from Cairns Performance Parts** for putting up the $100 runner-up prizes each night.
We also handed out our usual fun awards, had a few laughs at each other's expense and generally enjoyed catching up with the people who make these weekends what they are.
**That's what we love about the Road Trip.** Sure, we're all there to race, but it's the friendships, the laughs and the good times off the track that keep us coming back.
